Hi! I'm Rany. Welcome to this innovative course on clear aligner treatment for nasoalveolar molding (NAM) in infants with clefts.
Originally from Cairo, I’ve trained in both Egypt and the U.S., including a subspecialty fellowship in Cleft & Craniofacial Care at Case Western Reserve University.
During my fellowship, I became interested in digital orthodontics and NAM appliances, which inspired me to develop NAM aligners as part of team care.
As Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthodontics at Case Western, I enjoy working with our residents and fellows, advancing education through peer reviewing the Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
I wholeheartedly believe in the power of collaboration, compassion, and lifelong learning to elevate the standard of care and positively impact our patients. I look forward to connecting and embarking on new adventures in the dynamic field of craniofacial orthodontics on this platform!
